Sonic Fungi

PHASE 04

Artist: Sol V.

Scope: Resonance

Year: 2024

Macro photography of ripples in a petri dish filled with a sage mist liquid, vibrating from an unseen audio frequency in a clinical lab environment.

Sonic Fungi is an exploration into how sub-atomic frequencies leave a physical footprint on mycelium networks, acting as a bridge between the cosmic and the microscopic.

As a post-contemporary artist, I utilize lab-based investigation to visualize the unheard, making the unseen tangible through light and matter.
